INGREDIENTS
1 small onion, finely chopped
6 slices bacon, chopped
1/2 medium green bell pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp. tomato paste
3 cups water
1 can (15 oz.) red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 Knorr® Garlic MiniCube, crumbled
1 packet Knorr® Sazon with Coriander and Annatto
1-1/2 cups regular or converted rice
PREPARATION

  1. In 3-quart saucepan, cook onion, bacon and green pepper over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in tomato paste and cook 1 minute. Add water, beans, Knorr® Garlic MiniCube and Sazon. Bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in rice. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
  2. Before serving, fluff with fork.
