INGREDIENTS
1 Tbsp. olive oil
3- to 3-1/2-lb. boneless pot roast (rump, chuck or round)
1 package KnorrĀ® Sauerbraten (Pot Roast) recipe mix
2-1/2 cups water
1 Tbsp. firmly packed dark brown sugar (optional)
PREPARATION

Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven or large saucepot over medium-high heat and brown roast. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered about 2-1/2 hours or until roast is fork-tender, turning occasionally. Serve with steamed potatoes.
